More Safety at World Economic Forum – thanks to Layher
Other security measures for the event that takes place already for the 40th time include the construction of a temporary, weather-proof access which grants accredited participants of the meeting private access from the registration office to the congress centre. This task was successfully solved by a Swiss scaffolding company, thanks to a new product of Wilhelm Layher GmbH & Co. KG, the Allround bridging system. With this addition to the Allround Scaffolding product range, customers can now offer large-span bridge constructions.
Reliable weather and privacy screens on the pedestrian bridge are provided by the lightweight cassette roof used in conjunction with the Protect system. Transparent cassettes were used at eye level. The benefits include not only the simple and quick installation of the protective systems, but also the good light conditions due to daylight. With the roofed and cladded Allround bridging system, Layher was able to solve the requirements of the WEF in the most ideal way - and at the same time to contribute to the protection of Sarkozy & Co.
