Safe and sturdy – the infinitely extendable Aluminium Telescopic Bridging Beam from Layher

A sure footing is assured firstly by the specially designed and torsion-stiff extruded aluminium sections, and secondly by the 30 cm wide standing surface. The end of the latter is indicated by stacking lugs than can be felt even through shoes. To prevent any injuries, the ends of the sections have plastic caps. These caps double as sliding elements, reducing the effort needed for sliding the Telescopic Bridging Beam in or out and making it easy to handle. The smooth tread surface of the Beam is easy to clean, and the freely accessible aluminium edge also automatically removes any dirt on the deck surface of the inner part when the parts are slid together. When unextended, this new item is very compact for transportation, while an automatic catch function acts as a transport safety feature to ensure that the inner extending element cannot slide out by mistake.

The Aluminium Telescopic Bridging Beam was designed not only to have all these advantages, but also with a good price/performance ratio. At 0.30 m width and 0.08 m height, it is available in 2 lengths: telescoping from 1.64 m to 2.90 m and from 1.92 m to 3.50 m, with the working load for both versions being 150 kg.
